Of course, it's all behind the scenes! Though the University of Alberta offers hosting services to its members, they unfortunately restrict this to "static" pages. This means that to edit my site, I have to literally edit the HTML and CSS code that governs it.

This method is crude and has been a big reason for my silence online. Instead of just writing, I have to worry about formatting and other logistical problems. Therefore, I've decided to convert my static page into a Ghost site. I now host my own web server, own my domain, and have full control over the service.

You might ask why I didn't start off this way. Well, I simply didn't know enough about dynamic sites, web hosting, or networking at the time and also wanted to tackle a strictly HTML and CSS project. Now that I have the time, I've decided to try my hand at it again.

I hope this means I'll be on here more. I truly love to write and Ghost is meant to serve just that. There are no funky plugins to deal with or other distractions! For my readers, nothing should change except for having more content to skim ;)

I do intend to move content around so it is more intuitive. That is going to have to come at a later time!

Let me know if you find any bugs.
